New entrants & Managed Learning Programmes
If you are looking for a career in gas in the leisure industry then we may be able to help. We work with holiday and residential park companies to enable their staff to achieve Gas Safe Registration. To gain a gas qualification suitable to become Gas Safe Registered is a prescribed and regulated process which requires the completion of a Managed Learning Programme.
What is a Managed Learning Programme?
A Managed Learning Programme (MLP) is a mandatory requirement for all new entrants wanting to become registered with Gas Safe.
An MLP is basically a planned schedule of training and assessment that is structured and robust. It must comply with specified criteria which has been approved by EU Skills and the Institute of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM). It must also follow industry recognised Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
An MLP may be used to enable candidates with little or no gas experience to achieve Gas Safe registration status. The only alternative route is to undertake a recognised apprenticeship which can take several years to complete.
Fortunately, MLPs may be undertaken and completed by suitable staff in a matter of months. Quite simply, the shortest route to registration with Gas Safe is to complete an approved MLP.
Significant benefits for both employer and employee can be achieved, resulting in reduced costs and flexibility of workforce. Successful completion of our Managed Learning Programme permits the learner to undertake a core gas qualification leading directly to Gas Safe Registration.
Book an appointment with us now to discuss your needs. You will find out about the different training paths, speak to creator of our MLP, ask questions and discuss payment options.
During our discussion we will:
- Determine if this is the correct course for your needs
- Answer any questions you may have
- Describe the course in detail and the training you will receive,
- Explain precisely what work you will be qualified to undertake once completed
- Detail the qualifications you will receive
- Discuss course timescales
- Explain course costs, payment options and payment plans
Our range of online training is expanding, we currently offer a small selection of courses that can be completed at your leisure at any time of the day or night.
A single payment grants access to one of our courses. If your selected course requires you to undertake a test at the end, we will issue a certificate valid for 3 years (successful candidates only).
Our extensive range of training manuals are particularly suited to self learning.
